We are located in Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre, very close to Dun Laoghaire Dart Station and Dublin Bus Stops. There is car parking available at the Shopping Centre off Marine Road. We’re in the unit next to Tiger, on street level, in George’s Mall – opposite O’Briens Coffee Shop
Потяг DART: на станції Dun Laoghaire Dart вийдіть зі станції, перейдіть дорогу та пройдіться по Марін-роуд. У верхній частині Marine Road поверніть ліворуч на George’s Street, а головний вхід до торгового центру знаходиться зліва. Увійшовши в торговий центр, поверніть праворуч на George’s Mall, і ми знаходимося з лівого боку навпроти O’Briens Coffee Shop і поруч із Tiger. АВТОБУС: Наступні автобуси обслуговують Dun Laoghaire: Number 7 & Number 46a
Donate / Volunteer
We are currently looking for donations of:
- New underwear – women, men, children
- Light rainproof jackets
- Trainers and runners
- Shorts and T-Shirts (particularly L & XL)
- Casual clothing
- Children’s sandals
- Rucksacks and suitcases (with working zips)
We kindly ask that all donated items are in good-as-new condition.
Please do not leave donations in the public walkway of the shopping centre outside The Hub premises when we are closed. We can take donations between 10am – 2pm, Monday to Saturday – thank you 🙂
About Us
The Hub offers our Ukrainian guests clothing, footwear, toiletries, toys, stationery and books – all free of charge.
It is run by a group of Russian and Irish volunteers who have created a welcoming place that gives a sense of normality, offers help, information and advice on living and working in Ireland.
As part of The Hub, we have started a social project called the “Befriend Group”. Here Ukrainians can meet with locals, get to know each other and practice their English in a relaxed atmosphere. We believe that this will help our guests understand how things work in Ireland. It’s an evolving project, that we believe is very much needed.
